Air and space museum
As a global strategy, we wanted to accompany the airport of Le Bourget in its objective of communicating a brand image. Lossier Hangars are built in 1921, witnessing technics feat of concrete. They are today classed. The project proposes to reinvest them as exhibition hall for the museum. A hall will be design to unite those volumes and shelter the rest of the collection. The hall is facing the national road, giving it the silhouette of the hangars to see, and opening on the exceptional view on the tarmac. This form generates a double curvature; structurally build as a hyperbolic paraboloid constructed by a mesh in steel. Low points of this structure are articulated in concrete foundation drain rain to the ground. This project has been selected to be exposed in Airport Le Bourget.
