URBAN ANALYSIS
The global strategy is to work on the national freeway to offer a new facade to the airport.
Today, the city and the airport are separated by 2 physical limits: the national freeway and the "aero-city", a long layer exclusively centered on itself. Moreover, this frontier is difficult to cross. Any dialogue between the city and the airport activities is discouraged, and the periphery of the city of Blanc-Mesnil suffers from it.
This project has several axes: the first is programmatic, updating the programs used by the citizens and the airport staff so they can benefit from all the existing services. The second is geographic, identifying strategic points of liaison where to develop those programs.
